Directors' Note

Welcome to the website of the Center for Wireless and Microwave Information Systems at the University of South Florida, Department of Electrical Engineering. This site contains information about the diverse array of research projects being conducted by our graduate students and faculty members, the courses that make-up the senior- and graduate-level wireless & microwave curriculum, our very active Industry Advisory Board and various other activities associated with the center. More detailed information on our research activity can be found on the web pages for the sub-groups, or concentration areas, in the center (see links on the Research page).

Our faculty members strive to deliver world-class education and research advancements, and through these efforts contribute broad and substantial impacts for the betterment of society. The key to the success of the WAMI Center, however, are the students and our supporters throughout industry and various federal agencies. We are proud of the close community that our students have the opportunity to enjoy, and prouder still of their many achievements.

We are also sincerely grateful for the enduring support provided by our industry members and friends. And of course, we are always looking for creative ways to form new partnerships in research and education.
