Admission Standards for the College of Engineering and the Electrical Engineering Department

Admission to the College of Engineering requires a 1150 SAT (with at least 550 Quantitative) or an ACT score of 25 (with a 25 Quantitative) AND a high school GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Students who do not present these credentials are coded Pre-Engineering, advised in the College, and admitted to the College upon completion of Calculus I and II, Physics I and II and Physics I and II labs with a C or better in each course.

DEPARTMENTAL UNDERGRADUATE ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS

BS Electrical Engineering Completion of:

with a 2.25 GPA based upon all attempts in these courses.

• A minimum grade of “C” in each course

• A minimum overall GPA of 2.0 and a minimum USF GPA of 2.0
