Electrical engineering is indeed a fascinating field and encompasses a number of critical areas that technological breakthroughs have been and continue to be based upon. The department is committed to combining research and instruction and providing students with an education that is relevant in today's market-place with a keen understanding for what may lie beyond the horizon in electrical engineering.

Partnerships with high-tech industries and a commitment to providing innovative teaching laboratories are fundamental to the new age of microelectronics, communications and signal processing, wireless and microwave systems, energy and controls, computer applications, etc., all exciting career paths encompassed by the Electrical Engineering Department curriculum.

With our recently revamped curriculum tailored to the new guidelines for ABET accreditation our department is ready to transition undergraduate and graduate students into the challenges of the new millennium.
