USF Graduate School Forms
Make sure you have checked the Graduate School forms list to make sure all paper work has been completed in a timely manner.

You will find all forms needed for your successful defense at the graduate school web site.

If a student is anticipating graduation they are required to have a draft of their thesis/ dissertation reviewed for compliance to the University format by Graduate Studies and the College of Engineering Dean's Office (COE Academic Dean). Projects are reviewed by the COE Dean - not Graduate Studies.

All COE students must check with the COE Dean's office for their format check deadline dates. Make sure all thesis and dissertations have a format check with the College of Engineering Dean's office and the Graduate School manuscript consultant.

Check for the Deadline dates and the latest instructions from the Graduate School and the College of Engineering Dean's Office. Students MUST be enrolled for two credit hours the semester of their graduation. Students MUST give their committee a full draft of the thesis/ dissertation/ project a MINIMUM of TWO weeks before the oral defense. Committee members have the right to deny the Oral defense if this condition is not met.

General Instructions: The Graduate School will require a full draft of your thesis - usually 2 weeks after the start of each semester. If a student does not meet the graduate school format check deadlines, graduation will be delayed at least one semester.

Also, please make sure the Department/College has a supervisory committee appointment form on file with the University Office of Graduate Studies (or the manuscript will not be checked for format compliance).

If a student fails to submit a draft for the format check by the posted deadline date, they will be NOT be considered for graduation. Also, failure to bring in ALL THE NECESSARY SECTIONS of your manuscript for your format check could jeopardize your graduation.
