MSEE Option Track with an "Certificate" in Engineering Management: - Option
Supervisor in EE - Dr. Ken Buckle. Coordinated with Industrial Engineering and
Managment.
- 1. Mathematics Requirement (6 Hrs.)
· Particular course choices dependent on EE technical area and
students objectives.
- 2. Electrical Option Core Sequences (12 Hrs.)
· Two course sequences, two courses each, with the second course of
each sequence requiring a graduate course prerequisite.
· Sequences from existing option tracks within the MSEE program.
- 3. Electrical Engineering Electives (3 Hr.)
· The elective must be a EE 6000 level course.
- 4. MSEM Complimentary Sequence (12 Hr.)
· EIN-5322 Principles of Engineering Management
(Required)
· EIN-6934 Technology and Finance or EIN-6386
Management of Technological Change (Required)
· Two three hour elective courses from the MSEM
program (Required)
All general rules for the MSEE degree apply:
- · Total of 16 Hrs. at 6000 level.
- · 13 Hrs. of 6000 level work must be regularly scheduled and graded
courses.
- · Total Hrs. for the degree is 33 Hrs. if no Thesis and 36 Hrs. if a
Thesis is included.
- One of the courses in Electrical Engineering must be on the approved
"capstone" course list.
