Mission Statement: We offer degrees at the Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral level, plus a Wireless Engineering Certificate Program. The mission of the Electrical Engineering Department at the University of South Florida is to provide internationally recognized educational programs; to conduct and disseminate internationally recognized research benefitting humanity; to provide service to society; and to emphasize the need for lifelong learning, ethical conduct and an understanding of the diverse societal context in which engineering is practiced. The Electrical Engineering Department recognizes today's interdisciplinary nature of the discipline. Doctoral degrees in Physics, Chemistry, Computer Engineering, Mathematics and Materials, are acceptable degrees to teach courses offered through the department.
