    Current research includes active device and passive component modeling to improve predictability in CAD simulations, monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) design and characterization, advanced microwave measurement techniques, and RF/microwave applications of MEMS (micro electromechanical systems). Other research is concerned with antenna, propagation and system studies for weather sensing, automotive sensors and wireless communications which is shown in detail in following links.

    Total grant funding awarded to WAMI Center faculty as PIs or Co-PIs in 2002/03 exceeded $3.5M.
