Jolly Trolley
Take the Jolly Trolley, from the hotel to various places along Clearwater Beach. For a small charge you can travel up and down the barrier island visiting the beach or the shops and other places of interest.

Dunedin
Travel a short distance, 8 miles, to Dunedin (a community of Scotch background with Highland Games) and visit the antiques shops and boutiques. There are more than 60 shops, galleries and restaurants operating in this small town.

Tarpon Springs
This small town about 20 miles up the coast is famous for its sponge fishing history. The sponge docks have been developed as a tourist spot with numerous stores and restaurants.

Sarasota
Sarasota is the of Home of the Ringling Museum Museum. Stewardship of the museum rests with Florida State University. On arrival at the complex take a guided tour of the Ca d'Zan Mansion, the Ringling winter residence. It is one of America's great mansions. It was designed by New York architect Dwight James Baum and built between 1924 and 1926. After a comprehensive six-year restoration (1996-2002) the historic home reflects its original opulence and eclectic style. Sarasota is also home to the Marie Selby Gardens, known internationally for their rare Orchid Collection.
