The Wireless and Mirowave Information Systems curriculum offers the BSEE, MSEE and the Ph.D. degrees and a Graduate Certificate in Wireless Engineering. Research includes active device and passive component modeling to improve predictability in CAD simulations, monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) design and characterization, advanced microwave measurement techniques, and RF/microwave applications of MEMS (micro electromechanical systems). Other research is concerned with antenna, propagation and system studies for weather sensing, automotive sensors and wireless communications. WAMI is part of the Department of Electrical Engineering located in the College of Engineering at the University of South Florida
